Our Story

David Gamez, founder and CEO Notary Public & Other Services, LLC immigrated from El Salvador to the United States on September 7th, 2007 originally from Sensuntepeque Cabañas, El Salvador. At his early age David knew the challenges that awaited him in life, one of them was to emigrate to an unknown country, full of challenges, and above all to learn American culture, especially the English Language. Thanks to his excellent dedication, he was able to obtain and finish high school with sacrifice and dedication, graduating on May 5th, 2012. It was then that same year, a high school graduate from Fort Meade High School where he was invited to participate in a Catholic and religious event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for a year where he was with the religious community called Redemptorist. This opened the doors for him to know and understand his call and what God wanted for him.

It was then that he met a large Spanish-speaking community, especially Puerto Rican, where he was able to understand the need that was required in that community and it was then that he demonstrated his own interest in helping those most in need. He created a group of young adults to help him in faith and spiritual formation. For this reason and for many achievements he then went to study and prepare at one of the Catholic universities in Jamaica Queens, New York and it wasn’t until 2013 when he was transferred to Queens, New York to have the opportunity to better prepare, to understand the concept of life more, and most importantly to study and have in-depth knowledge on the subject of being a professional. David lived in New York for two years where his deepest desire was to become a Catholic priest, making known his desire to serve his Catholic community, with a main focus on assisting the Spanish-speaking community.

In 2016, his desire to continue was temporarily halted due to personal affairs since his mother Maria Barbara got sick and needed financial help, which made him make difficult decisions because in various factors the economic issue was what was his main concern at that time and made him decide to temporarily abandon his studies and return to Maryland. It was in 2016 when he moved to Oakland, California when he graduated from New York City University (Queens Boroughs) where he tried to get a stable job but on many occasions it was impossible due to lack of work. By knowing him in the Catholic Church and working for St. Elizabeth Catholic Church where he helped and knew the deep need for God in the lives of human beings. Respect for equality and human rights, based on his knowledge and experience, he was able to obtain a stable job in the state of Maryland, where he moved at the end of August 2017. It was then in 2017 while he got the new job that he temporarily worked as a waiter at TGI Fridays Restaurant in Hanover which he was able to save and help mom financially.

It was then that on July 27, 2017 he worked for the State of Maryland at (MDOT) Motors and Vehicles of Maryland which his service was very helpful for a period of 2 years. This motivated him to have the courage to start his own business at 27 years of age. Thus, by July 2019, David Gámez undertook the most difficult flight that any business owner can have: opening his business with only $10 in his bank account. Ultizing the knowledge of the past he set out on the path. It was then that he registered his business as long as he met the requirements of the state of Maryland with just a pencil and paper he began to notarize. Charging only 4.00 just for signing and notarizing documents and it is so that today he never expected to grow the Which company is one of the most recognized in the Glen Burnie Maryland area and Thank God, as he says, it has been one of the greatest blessings of his life.
